This was such a fun week and probably the quickest one of my mission so far! We were so busy with MLC, Zone Training, Stake meetings and exchanges. It made it pretty hard to schedule appointments with everyone because our days were already so filled up. Now this next week is already stacked as well!
So to start off this week, we had MLC (mission leadership training) which was so dang cool. It is a meeting with all the Zone Leaders, Assistants and the Mission President and Wife. We talked about the allegory given in Jacob 5 and then did a bunch of training on how we could help the mission to improve and what we should bring back to our zones for zone training. It was way spiritual and yet a lot of fun. President Rehm is just so cool and I always learn a lot from him. They also fed us breakfast and lunch so that was a bonus.
For Zone Training, we were able to pick the things out of MLC that we felt we should take back to our zones. So we spent some time preparing for that. We had Zone Training on Friday and it went so well. We taught doctrine on spiritual self reliance and faith and then trained on some things discussed in MLC. I was a bit nervous at first but once we got started, it was just a spiritual experience.
It was a great experience being able to attend a Stake Coordination Meeting. It was a meeting with the Stake Presidency, President Rehm and one of his counselors and Elder Garton and I. It was great seeing how such spiritual people operate. We talked about the missionary work in the stake.
We then went on exchanges with the elders in Walsenburg. I went with Elder Stark to Walsenburg and it was way fun. Elder Stark just finished being done as an Assistant to the President so it was helpful being able to learn from his experience.
The other highlight of this week was being able to continue to meet with the brother who is being baptized. I am so excited he is able to be baptized and man he is just so prepared. his baptism will be this week!
I have definitely grown a lot this week and I have felt my testimony of the Gospel and Jesus Christ strengthened. i am thankful to be able to serve here. Anyways love you all!
